Mr. Ahmet Arslan, Ministrer Of Transport, Maritime And Communications said:

Mr. Ahmet Arslan, Ministrer Of Transport, Maritime And Communications who visited Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) during Bursa his visit, and said “I kept informed about the projects of BTSO. We saw that Objectives of Turkey for 2023 is not a dream with these projects.
During the visit organized in BTSO Service Building, Minister Mr. Ahmet Arslan who was welcomed by Mr. İbrahim Burkay, President Of BTSO Board, Mr. Remzi Topuk, Head of the Assembly and members of the board, got information about projects carried out by BTSO, especially TEKNOSAB. Stating that he is very pleased to works that have been completed so far, Mr. Ahmet Arslan, thanked to Mr. İbrahim Burkay and the members of the board.
Saying that Bursa is the hearth of Turkish commerce and industry, Minister Mr. Ahmet Arslan stated that he is proud of performance performed in Bursa. Mr. Ahmet Arslan stated that Bursa is a locomotive city of Turkey with its export volume and industrial experiences, and said “The vision of BTSO is an element that support the politics of our country and government. We learned today how the great projects are effective for Bursa, its trade volume and the people living there predictably under the guidance of our prime minister.
“Huge Projects Will Increase Trade Volume”
Stating that travel comfort of citizens increased after Osmangazi Bridge, as a part of İstanbul-Bursa-İzmir highway, was completed, Minister Mr. Arslan said “Our projects achieve growth of industry and commerce as well as travel comfort in our region. Value added production will also increase in parallel with these developments.. These projects will be most important subject and touchstone to reach future objectives of our country. We understood that we are doing well when we heard about Mr. Burkay’s supportive expressions and demands related to the works to be focused.”
Mentioning that logistical centre is an important step to reach 2023 objectives of Bursa, Mr. Arslan said “Industry of Bursa wants to connect harbours and highways together via railways. It is desired to be connected over not only Gemlik, but also Bandırma as two sides. The projects required by the public so as to ease export and logistic operations of production and to export them to oversea-countries, by decreasing transport cost, are what we want exactly.  For this reason, the railway connections between both Gemlik-Bursa and Bandırma-Bursa are very important. We will connect the railways which will also provide the freight shipment by high-speed train, with the harbours. Especially, we expect that Bursa-Bilecik and İstanbul-Ankara high-speed train lines will be completed as soon as possible. We made supply tenders fot tunnels during this process. We have finished tender studies about the part of Yenişehir. We land a contract nowadays. Thus we make this railway connections by strengthening its east-west and north-south stages.”
“We Will Make Everything That Needs For Logistical Centre”
Stating that logistical centre is very important to export from port to oversea countries, Minister Mr. Arslan said “There is an important work on this subject to be handled by BTSO. I think this work is very important progress for the industry of Bursa. We had talked about TEKNOSAB Project. We are also thinking that integration of İstanbul-Bursa-İzmir Highway has very important role for the development of the region. We will make everything that needs for this subject.”
BTSO Projects Are Complement Factor For Our Works
Emphasizing that the projects of Metropolitan Municipality, private sector and public must be carried out together, Minister Mr. Arslan resumed his speaking like that: “We work all together for development and success for the future steadily of our country. Either the works were completed on aerospace defence industry by BTSO or the projects were handled related to logistical planning are complement of our great works that we have carried out in Ankara. For this reason, we will support completely the works to be handled by BTSO. They will continue to add contribution for the future of our country too. We should present an example work to the other cities of our country as of Bursa, so that we improve not only our Bursa but also every part of our country.”
TEKNOSAB Will Be Key Of Industry 4.0 Revolution
Mr. İbrahim Burkay, President Of BTSO said that Bursa as a centre of production and second biggest exporter city of Turkey, leads up to grow our country economically. Stating that as of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, they have worked for developments in Bursa which exports more than 180 countries with dared investors who adopted “Bursa Grows, Turkey Grows” vision, President Mr. Burkay pointed out that TEKNOSAB Project that will ease the transition to high tech production of Turkey, has very important role. Saying that they want to increase export rate/kg and empower the value added production of Turkey and Bursa through TEKNOSAB project, President Mr. Burkay, said “The projects continued and works performed under the leadership of our Minister Mr. Ahmet Arslan, have directed not only economy of Bursa, but also economy of Turkey and growth of Turkish economy today. Osmangazi Bridge was built and Bursa-İstanbul part of the project on İstanbul-Bursa-İzmir Highway is very important. Also both city and country economy will rally with High Speed Train project in which is very important for Bursa. We would like to thank our Minister Mr. Ahmet Arslan and our government that supports Bursa business world in each phases during our projects.”
